Many of us choose to identify as Reform Pagan for some or all of the following simple reasons:
- We draw profound inspiration from the vision of the Pagan Renewal—we think that Paganism has the power to transform the world for the better, and we want to play an active role in bringing about that positive transformation.
- We appreciate that people are social animals who come together whenever they want to accomplish something bigger than themselves—if we truly want to accomplish our ambitious mission of positive transformation, then we must not sequester ourselves as “solitaries” but come together in fellowship.
- We believe that our shared labor toward positive transformation should include everyone, without requiring adherence to any specific metaphysical beliefs or spiritual practices—Reform Pagans find common ground in our Fifteen Theses of belief and Five Elements of practice, but beyond these basics, we emphasize the open-minded cross-pollination of all traditions of belief and practice that serve to manifest our vision of positive transformation.
